Closure of Language College from January 2024

The Language College hosted and facilitated here at Bishop Wordsworth’s School did its best to keep going during the pandemic using online methods where possible and since then we have endeavoured to reinvigorate our face-to-face lessons. Sadly, we are finding that the number of students has not recovered to the pre-pandemic levels and we regret to say that the cost of running the courses is no longer viable and so the Language College will be closing at the end of the Autumn Term 2023. The current term will complete as planned. We are sorry for the disappointment this may cause and thank our students for supporting our courses, some for many years.(Updated 3 Nov 2023)
