We offer evening classes for adults in French, German, Italian, Spanish and Russian at various levels from beginner to advanced.
Students should expect to contribute and actively participate in lessons which are delivered by our team of enthusiastic tutors, many of whom are native speakers. None of the languages is examined; however some of the teachers may require students to purchase a text book. Please do not purchase any books prior to your class commencing.
The learning environment is relaxed and informal in pleasant surroundings. Classrooms are well equipped and parking is usually available on site.
Each course runs for a school year with classes taking place over two terms: an initial shorter term during the autumn, leading into a second longer term from January through to mid-May. Subject to demand, classes may continue into June and July. Each course prepares students for the next level the following September.
Term 2 is a continuation of the courses started in September and is primarily for students who have completed Term 1. However, depending on experience, it is sometimes possible to join a class at this stage. Please email firstname.lastname@example.org to enquire.
Current students have been emailed enrolment details for Term 2. If you have not received the information, please check your spam folder and contact us if our email is not there.
The spring term begins week commencing Monday 13 January 2020 and ends Wednesday 20 May 2020. There are no evening classes during the school's half-term holiday (Monday 17 February to Friday 21 February 2020) or during the Easter break (Monday 6th April to Friday 17 April 2020)
