At BWS, pupils study composition and techniques.

A LEVEL MUSIC (Edexcel Specification)

Pupils will learn how to harmonise a melody in the style of JS Bach, and develop their original compositional skills in Year 12. In Year 13, pupils will complete one composition either to a set brief, or a free composition to a brief devised by the pupil. The Bach style examination takes place at the end of the course.
