A work experience placement allows students to explore potential career options, gain a greater understanding of the world of work and develop valuable, transferable skills, allowing for stronger informed decisions at key options points.
The BWS Work Experience Programme offers a structured learning framework allowing students to benefit from their placements, being well-prepared and supported throughout.
Formal, in-person placements take place in Year 10 in the Summer term for the period of one week and at the start of Year 13. Of course, students may arrange their own throughout their time at school, outside of curriculum time, for example in school holiday periods.
