Lesson Timings

Students must be at School by 08:55am, but must not arrive before 08.15am unless they have prior permission.

From September 2026 BWS will be moving to a 5 period day with a 2-week rotation. Consequently, the timings for lessons are:

Lateness

All students arriving after 09.00am will be signed in by the duty member of staff outside reception. Students arriving after 9:15 will need to buzz at the gate and sign-in at reception. 

Departure

All students must leave the site by 4pm unless they are being supervised directly by a member of staff.

Week A / Week B

To achieve the optimal spread of each school day with active lesson delivery (i.e. taking account of bank holiday disruption etc.), each week has been designated as A/B as per the below table. Note highlighted weeks following breaks return on the same week of the last half-term.
