Bishop Wordsworth’s School is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Teacher of Business and Economics to join
our high performing and collaborative department on a part time basis. This post has arisen to support a job share
arrangement and offers an excellent opportunity for a talented teacher seeking a flexible working pattern.
This role would suit an experienced teacher or an Early Career Teacher looking to develop their practice within a
supportive, ambitious environment, while benefiting from a reduced timetable.
Business and Economics are popular and successful subjects within the school, particularly at Key Stage 5.
Students are highly motivated and outcomes are strong, supported by a culture of academic excellence and high
expectations. The successful candidate will deliver high quality teaching at Key Stage 4&5, depending on
experience, and contribute to the continued success of the department.
We are looking for someone with strong subject knowledge, a passion for Business and Economics, and the ability
to inspire and challenge students. A commitment to high standards and a willingness to contribute positively to a
collaborative team are essential.
