We hold a number of Open Events throughout the year to give prospective students and their parents the chance to explore our school, meet our teachers and students, and experience our community first-hand. For those considering entry into the Sixth Form in September 2027, our main Open Evening will take place on Thursday 8th October 2026. Booking isn’t required, but reserving a place helps us manage numbers and ensure the best possible experience. Link to book places for tour (not essential) here. Early access prebooked tours (book here) begin at 5pm with main gates opening for all (pre-booked or not) at 5.30pm.

There will be many welcoming staff and students situated around the foyer of the sports hall and in the main yard where information on the evening's programme will be available. 

During the open evening you can expect:

• Welcome presentations by the Deputy Head and Head of Sixth Form at 5.45pm, 6.15pm, and 6.45pm in the Smallwood Study Room.
• Teaching staff available in the sports hall and teaching rooms to discuss subjects, courses, and wider opportunities
• Current Sixth Form students on hand to guide you, answer questions, and share their experiences
• Societies and enrichment stalls run by students in the main hall
• Opportunities to speak with other key members of staff, including our Careers Adviser; Volunteering Lead; SENDCo; Pastoral Support and Work Experience Officer

We will also be offering a tour of the school at 5pm.
