Our Fine Tuning campaign has been launched to raise funds to build a new music technology suite, a recording studio and new instruments.
We plan to teach music technology using an Apple Mac Suite, equipped with Logic Pro X, a complete collection of sophisticated creative tools for professional songwriting, beat making, editing, and mixing. Logic Pro X includes a massive collection of instruments, effects, loops and samples, providing a complete toolkit to create amazing-sounding music. We have purchased 23 Mac Minis and a teacher’s iMac for the new Music Technology Suite. All will include Logic Pro X and midi keyboards. This is brilliant step in the right direction, but to be able to teach all pupils effectively we still require additional keyboards, Logic Pro X software licences, and Mini Macs.
We are also looking to raise funds to be able to purchase some new pianos and other instruments for the Music Department.
